Overview
The Elysium testnet faucet hands out 100 ELYS — its own test token, not the chain’s gas token — every five minutes, so anyone can try apps on the testnet without asking a team for funds.
It is one of the few projects here with a single contract and a measurable reach: 728 wallets and 2,540 transactions in the last week, over a thirty-day series. That is a steady trickle rather than a spike, which is the right shape for a faucet: people arrive when they have something to try, not all at once.
The deployment is exactly one contract, named simply “ELYS test token”, with no transaction count recorded. Everything above is measured at project level.
It exists because the official paths to test funds are not always enough, and it is run by a community builder on Replit rather than by the chain’s team. Worth knowing before relying on it.
