Overview
Kalos is an NFT marketplace with an unusually long on-chain record for a testnet project: 141,932 sales, 4,923 buyers and 545,139 swaps, plus a DEX of its own that has moved $18.93M all time — 106,726 HYPE and 10,628,993 USDC.
The two halves are worth separating. Minting is tiny, at 30 tokens and 8 collectors, while trading is not: 32,260 wallets were active in the last week and 18,101 of them swapped. This reads as a marketplace used mainly as a trading venue, with collection creation still ahead of it.
Thirty-four deployments are on record, from 33 addresses. They run from a UniswapV3Factory and a marketplace contract to a drops factory and a set of collection contracts named after the projects behind them — Kalos Genesis, Marble Studies, Little Legends, Elysium Realms — alongside wrapped HYPE and a staked KALOS token.
It is a testnet preview rather than a launched product: the currency is HYPE, and both the Kalos Genesis collection and a points program are listed as coming.
From the directory listing
An NFT marketplace in testnet preview on Elysium, with its own DEX where anyone can list a token: mint and trade collections, make offers, swap tokens and chat with other holders. A points program is planned.
