Open-source HIP-4 markets

Prediction markets·Elysium Testnet

Overview

OrbCast is open-source prediction markets built on Hyperliquid’s HIP-4, with a live demo already running.

Its builder said in Elysium’s builder chat on October 5 that Elysium contracts could follow once the HyperCore precompiles are live. Of the HIP-4 projects in this directory, that is the most concrete commitment, because it names the dependency rather than the intention.

A precompile is a native contract the chain has to provide; until it exists, code that depends on it cannot be ported. The sequencing here is dictated by the chain’s roadmap, not by OrbCast’s willingness.

Everything else is unmeasured: no contract on the testnet, no account in the listing, and the prediction-market tiles — bets placed, bettors, the vault — all empty.

The demo is the piece of evidence that can be inspected now. The move to Elysium is conditional, and correctly presented as such.
